Based on the Hoagie Carmichael and Johnny Mercer song ‘Skylark’, a romantic new series of chine colle collages using vintage wallpaper fragments from the 50’s and lithographed songbirds as well as some hand painting to create these charming one-of-a-kind artworks. Each is size 7x9 on archival paper and matted with acid-free mat of antique white in the familiar size of 11x14”, each is ready to frame as you wish. Starting with number 1, each artwork is titled from a line in the song. An inspired retro journey with a songbird and a sweet garden and a longing for romance.
