On Being a Good Ancestor- Original artwork

A new series I am calling 'Skyworld'. It's one of my signature techniques: chine collé collage. This grouping is composed of blocks and fragments of hand printed papers, vintage songbird lithographs, and/or handprinted songbirds from my own blocks. There are also hand painted botanical illustrations, all blended into a comment about our  Planet Earth and the beauty of Nature, the blessings of our planet.

The artwork is collaged onto acid free and archival paper measuring 8x8” for the image and 11x11” for the mounting paper. Shipped flat in a cello sleeve with backboard. Each is one of a kind, without comparison.
