A large mixed media artwork on paper, this is Book of Fixed Stars, based on the ancient Iranian 10th c manuscript of the same name. This is art on paper, size 24hx36w. It is a combination of vintage map pages from a world map book, with printed acanthus leaf designs on each page, then collaged onto the base sheet and from there, hand painted with the 3 figures. These are figures depicting the constellations of the stars.
