A mixed media rendition of Frida Kahlo in a serious moment, maybe contemplating the infidelity of her husband Diego Rivera, or maybe just considering her impact on the 21st century. This version has a school of small silver fish in the background and hand colored botanical bouquets at her shoulders and in her hair. Her beads are also hand colored.
Linoleum block print with collage of acid free papers and handprinted elements such as the birds and sunflowers. One third of her entire body of work were self-portraits. May I add my own version?
Size 22x14" on heavy archival paper. Shipped unframed in a flat box from my studio in Colorado.
