I hope this year-end brings joyful realizations of your good fortune and abundant blessings. These are such challenging times and It’s sometimes a stretch to think about our blessings, but I know you and I are blessed in more ways than we can count.
I have a couple of things to share with you, both good news. First, my last post, the ‘survey’ of sorts gleaned 10 good responses of constructive suggestions and consolations: I found out that most people don’t buy art for gifts, and that many people at a certain age feel that they have enough art and enough of everything. I also found out that the watermark on my art images wasn’t worth mentioning, no one did! So thank you for all who responded.
Therefore, I am stepping back from the notion of big online art sales and sticking with an occasional offering or promotion to tempt you. My focus will remain on exhibitions and soliciting galleries as well as art consultants for the hospitality trade. That seems to be a fruitful direction for me.
Here’s the other good news. I am featured in the program for a big printmaking show in Denver (Arvada Center) called ‘528.0 REGIONAL JURIED PRINTMAKING EXHIBITION’. It’s just a lucky thing, the program designers seemed to think my Tree of Life piece fit well on that page. And yes, I am grateful!
I’ll include a list of exhibitions I am participating in this next year. If any of you are in the Denver area, please let me know and I will join you for any of these shows.
Happiness and Joy! Live life as art in any way you can. ‘til next time, Ouida
